This Smothered Hamburger Steak dish is an Arkansas staple. You can get it served up at several local restaurants, or you can make it in your own kitchen likely from a recipe passed down to you from your grandma. We would eat this for dinner, and like many dinner things we ate, there is always potatoes or rice where there is gravy! And there is usually gravy!
I made this gravy with cornstarch instead of flour because I like the lighter consistency.
