Dining out can pose quite a challenge when you are trying to make healthier food choices! Many times, your choices are very limited. While most restaurants, even the fast food ones, offer healthy salads for lunch or dinner, finding a good breakfast option can be more difficult. Fried, buttered, sugary, and carb-loaded options are readily available, but healthy and delicious breakfast food can be hard to find. So, when I found out Chick-Fil-A had a new breakfast sandwich coming, I was happy about it.
I was also reluctant to try it. I mean chicken and egg whites???? Hmmmm…..no thank you. Give me a Chicken Biscuit or Chicken Burrito instead please! My husband actually tried this sandwich first, and recommended I try it. So I did. I was delightfully surprised! It is delicious. It has only 300 calories and has a whole 25 grams of protein! That’s excellent.
